Specializing in hardback shades, Challenger Lighting manufactures your shades on site, offering a wide range of standard fabrics. Whether you’re designing a new lamp or updating your existing decor, we can handle your large or small orders, and even your oversized shade requests. We also welcome the opportunity to work with your own fabrics and materials, and can supply a flame retardant spray when specified.

To order shades, please specify the following:
• Material
• Shape (round, square, rectangle, oval, drum)
• Size (top, bottom and slant required)
• Top fitter drop (3/4" is standard (see “d” on round/drum illustration)
• Type of holder (washer is standard)
• Brass or galvanized metal finish

How to measure a hardback shade:
• 1. Measure top diameter (whole inches)
• 2. Measure bottom diameter (whole inches)
• 3. Measure slant length (whole inches)

Shade colors may vary due to fabric changes. Other materials and tri-laminated shades are available, please call for a quote.
